Cheesy Potatoes made Easy

Today I decided to make a childhood favorite: cheesy scallop potatoes. I recently purchases some individual casserole dishes and I was itching to try them out. This dish is so simple.all you need is:

Cheddar cheese
Chicken broth
Salt, Pepper, chopped garlic

1. Wash and thinly slice your potatoes.
2. Slice your cheddar cheese or by already sliced cheese.
3. In alternating layers, starting with potatoes, put down enough slices of potatoes to cover the bottom then a slice of cheese. Add some cracked ground pepper. Then do the next layer until you reach the top of your casserole dish. The top layer should be potatoes.

4. Add chicken broth to your dish, filling about half way.
5. For an added twist I put crushed garlic in-between my layers instead of black pepper. So be creative!
6. In a pre-heated oven to 350 degrees bake your casserole, uncovered, for 45 minutes, more or less depending on the size of your dish.

The end result is a delicious dish that you, or your family, will love!
